- Yes. Coastal Virginia Restoration is IICRC certified, and we are veteran owned and operated.
- How long have you been doing this?
- Five years of restoration experience.
- What should I do before you arrive?
- Stay safe first. Stop the water source if you can, move valuables somewhere dry and take photos of the damage. Our emergency guide has steps for water, fire, mold and storm damage.
- Can one company handle the cleanup and the repairs?
- Yes. Construction is one of our services, so the same team takes you from the first call to the finished repairs.

- How soon should water be removed?
- As soon as possible. Water keeps soaking into floors and walls, and damp materials can start to grow mold. That is why our line is answered 24/7.
- Can wet drywall and flooring be saved?
- Sometimes. It depends on the material, the kind of water and how long it has been wet. We check it and tell you plainly what can be dried and what has to go.

- Can smoke odor really be removed?
- In most cases, yes. Odor lives in surfaces, fabrics and air ducts, so we clean the source rather than cover it up.
- Do you handle the rebuild too?
- Yes. Construction is one of our services, so the same team can take you from cleanup to finished repairs.

- Why did the mold come back after I cleaned it?
- Because the moisture behind it was still there. Lasting removal means finding and fixing the moisture source, not only the stain.
- Is it safe to stay in the house?
- It depends on how much there is and where. Call us and we will talk it through and look at it with you.
